Pinterest Project Two

This is the second project I tried from my Pinterst inspirations.
1. When we bought our house, there was alot of work to be done, especially in our DD's room. (I may blog on that later).  So we pretty much gutted it out and then refinished it.  Once it was refinished with our nicely painted drywall, it was pretty but plain.  Therefore I found some cute ideas for decorating the walls on the cheap.
2. I bought 6 wood plaques, letter stencils, and ribbon from Hobby Lobby (total cost less then $10), brought it home, got out the glue gun and leftover paint from the walls, and went to work.  The actual work process took about an hour and a half, however I had to wait for the first paint coats to dry before applying the second coat and then the stencil letters.  Here are a few pictures:

3.  I like the letters, the colors, and the idea...I don't care as much for the size of them.  If I did it again I would get bigger wooden plaques.  I also may have gotten cloth letter stencils or something instead of painting them on, which made them a little sloppy on some of the edges.  In the future I will probably put pictures or something around them helping to fill up that wall a little better.
Pinterest Project Two: Finished.  Verdict: Somewhat Successful
